Students Blocked Road in Demand of a Bridge over River Dharia

Webdesk, TNI Dinhata 18th May, 2017: Dinhata today saw another road blockade by school students for the demand of a bridge over River Dharia. This time it’s the students of Gitaldaha High School was involved in the road blockade.

As far as the local reports are concerned yesterday a school girl fell from the old Dharia River Bridge (which is in a dilapidated condition) and was injured seriously. The local youths set fire on the bridge. Later today they blocked the road in demand of a new river bridge. The road blockade stayed from 10 am to 4 pm after the administration assured to convey the matter to the concerned authorities.
